Music

All classes have a dedicated hour of music instruction every week by credentialed music teachers. Students engage in a variety of activities to develop their understanding and appreciation of music. 

Lessons include clapping rhythms, singing simple melodies, performing musical theater, or engaging in movement activities such as dancing or stretching. Students in upper grades have the opportunity to learn how to play instruments like the violin, viola, and ukulele.
