CSUF Men’s Soccer Players Read About Character

Excited students welcomed the Cal State Fullerton Men's Soccer team to Willmore as they read the “Todd and the Talking Pinata” book series. Through the books, the importance of character traits such as courage, bravery, kindness, perseverance, and sacrifice were shared. Students and the soccer players had the opportunity to discuss their experiences in seeing or exhibiting character. Chip Fuller, Director of Operations and author of the series, shared his motivation for writing. The illustrations and exciting text, kept our students highly engaged and ready to read. The athletes talked about the importance of having a good work ethic and positive attitude on and off of the field.  They also showed their soccer skills by juggling and showing their best tricks with the ball! We are looking forward to learning more from these role model college student athletes and head coach George Kuntz a few more times this spring!
