Through Google's Augmented Reality technology, students were able to study real-life objects that aren't readily available to the classroom. Have you ever looked into the eye of a tornado? Or walked around the rings of Saturn? With this amazing technology, Willmore students got to do this and more! Augmented reality lessons gave Willmore students an opportunity to enhance their learning as they interacted with 3D models and images. Classroom teachers selected the expeditions for their students and guided them on their discoveries. Some of the most popular tours included Forces of Nature, the Solar System, Fish, and Dinosaurs. Many thanks to Google Expeditions for helping Willmore Thunderbirds explore the world!
