Willmore hosted the 2nd annual Multicultural Appreciation Night on Wednesday, May 29th at 5:30 pm. Students and families were proud to share their cultures, traditional attire, and food from all over the world! One student and his mother created a presentation about Trinidad and Tobago to honor his family heritage. Students showed off folklorico dancing with music and beautiful outfits. Our amazing Vietnamese parents shared about the different regional dresses in Vietnam with a fashion show. Families had the opportunity to try foods from all over the world. We also had Puerto Rico drum performers and Polynesian dancers. Thank you to our wonderful parents and PTA for planning this event and for highlighting the importance of appreciating our families and backgrounds. This was an evening to celebrate and appreciate the diversity of our Willmore families!
